Elderdrumming
You're
never too old to drum! Elders up to 103 years old have enjoyed
the HealthRHYTHMS® therapeutic
drumming program.
The HealthRHYTHMS® approach has been clinically
proven to benefit elders, and studies show specific benefits to
those suffering from Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and a myriad
of physical challenges. Benefits, even in the latter stages of Alzheimer's
disease, include:
- entrainment (the ability to copy simple rhythms)
- achieving mental focus
- stress relief
- creating a state of inner peace
- allowing participants a safe way to express joy, frustration,
anger, hope and other feelings
- creating a sense of unity and community
|
Using small group, one-to-one, or large group HealthRHYTHMS®
approaches, Diana's Drum presents a fun, stimulating, and enriching
program to seniors of all ages, and all abilities. Call us today
at (519) 376-8787 to find out how you can bring some extra sunshine
into seniors' lives.
